Detroit-based Professional Research Services (PRS) conducts peer-review surveys of all kinds of professionals in any given geographical area. PRS then licenses this data to city and regional publications so consumers can access an objective ranking system of the professionals they need.
This year, MyNewOrleans.com published a PRS-prepared list of New Orleans' Top Lawyers of 2020, which featured our very own Jenny Abshier.
To select the area’s leading attorneys, PRS conducted a vote, wherein all licensed attorneys in New Orleans recommended up to three colleagues in any given legal specialty. PRS then evaluated the nominees, considering the survey results, licensing, and current standing with the State Bar of Louisiana. The final list includes all those with the highest number of votes in each practice area. Attorney Abshier was selected for Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights, Insolvency, and Reorganization Law.
